Yoncalla Church of Christ
God
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, that He loves us, and only wants the best for us. We believe that God exists as The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
The Bible
​
We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, and that it is complete and relevant in its teaching. The Bible is not just the standard for living a life that pleases God, but an invitation to know Him.
Jesus
​
We believe that Jesus came to earth as a baby born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He walked among us, teaching, healing, and giving us an example of a life without sin. While innocent, He was crucified on the cross as payment for our sins. and rose from the grave three days later in victory over death. Later, He ascended into heaven where He sits at God's right hand. In God's timing, Jesus will return to the earth victorious!
The Holy Spirit

We believe that The Holy Spirit is God living within us, and is the evidence of our salvation. The Holy Spirit guides us through the choices we make in life, and teaches us more about God each day.
Salvation & Baptism
​
We believe that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ and acceptance of His sacrifice on the cross for our sins. We can't be saved by anything we do, only by what Jesus has done. When we are baptized, we announce to the world that we belong to God, and show our obedience to Him.
The Church
​
We believe that the church is not the building, but the people within. Together as the church we follow the instructions Jesus left behind by loving the Lord, serving our community, and sharing the Gospel message every chance we can. As a group of believers, we support each other by studying, praying, and worshiping together.
Evangelism
​
We believe that the door to salvation is always open. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity.
